Why 8 required photos and 4 optional tyre shots?
Front, passenger side, rear and driver side give the AI a full 360° walkaround — critical for catching panel-to-panel paint mismatch that indicates accident repair. Engine bay and trunk cover mechanical hygiene and cargo-area condition. The odometer (with engine on) lets us read the kilometre reading and confirm the cluster is live. Front seat interior flags cabin wear. The four optional tyre shots let the AI read tread depth and the DOT manufacture code on each wheel — useful but skippable if the tyres look obviously fresh or you're short on time.
How does the AI analyse photos?
Each photo is sent to our AI computer-vision model with a prompt specific to that photo type. The side-profile prompts look for door alignment and panel mismatch; the odometer prompt reads the kilometre number and cross-checks vs age; the tyre prompts read tread depth and the DOT manufacture code. You get 3-5 factual observations per photo.
Is this a replacement for a physical inspection?
No — complement, not replacement. AI inspection is for the first-pass filter (you can check 5 cars for the price of one physical inspection). Use a physical inspection on your final shortlisted car before payment, since we can't detect internal engine wear or undocumented accidents from photos.
What's in the 12-question checklist?
Four categories: Paperwork (service history, NOCs, insurance claims), Mechanical (major service, known model issues, warning lights, AC health), History (owner count, accident disclosure, reason for selling), Usage (annual km, city vs highway). Each question has the ideal answer, red-flag answer, and the reason it matters. (Note: the 12 in "12 questions" refers to the question checklist in your report — not the photo count.)
How is "model intelligence" generated?
We use AI with web-search grounding to research known issues, recalls, common failure points, parts availability and real-world fuel economy for your specific make/model/year combination in the Indian market. Results are cached for 30 days, keyed by make/model/year-bucket — repeat reports on the same model render instantly.
Do you give a Go / No-Go verdict?
No. We intentionally give facts and observations without telling you to buy or walk away. Your purchase decision factors you know that we don't (negotiating position, relationship with seller, urgency). False confidence from an AI "Go" signal could push someone into a bad deal.
Are my photos stored?
No. Uploaded photos are sent to our image CDN temporarily, processed by our AI, then deleted. We do not retain them. The AI observations are shown in your report once and deleted when you leave the page.
What's the refund policy?
If any step of generation fails and no report is rendered, we auto-refund ₹249 within 5 business days. Once the report is successfully rendered, it's non-refundable — download the PDF before closing the tab.
Does AI catch hidden engine problems?
No. AI can only flag what's visible in the photos. Internal engine wear, electrical issues, brake condition, and undocumented accident history won't show up. Always get a physical mechanical inspection before making final payment.
